The way of sending text messages from a desktop computer works on the same principle like we use WhatsApp web.
All we need two things to send and receive text messages using a desktop computer.
1- Android smartphone with google messages app.
2- Must have an internet connection.
Setting up Web messages step by step:
Open play store and type messages
find out this one in the screenshot below which is from google LLC
install the messages app and open it.
Now go to PC open chrome and type google web messages
open the first link messages for web
after clicking on messages for web the below QR code will be appear
you have to scan this QR code
in messages, app go to the upper right corner (3 dots) and tap on it
tap on QR code scanner
now scan the QR code by your phone using the messages app
when scan the QR code complete the phone will vibrate the below web messaging window will appear.
that's it.
Note:
you must have an internet connection
both your smartphone and PC have been connected to the internet to use messages for web service.
